Power The Polls
Our social media reach is one of our greatest resources to utilize to support the upcoming election. We work with advisors to identify and craft messages we have confidence are most impactful. Below are assets for our campaign to ensure we have sufficient poll workers on Election Day.
Help Recurit Poll Workers.
Power The Polls is doing essential work in staffing polling locations around the country, to ensure that voters have a convenient place to vote that does not have long lines. Traditionally poll workers are older volunteers who are at higher risk for COVID, so they’ve been working to build an army of young volunteers to staff polling locations across the country. But we are still facing shortages in key counties and cities, namely (* = need for bilingual speakers):
Polk County, FL (Kissimmee and Lakeland)*
Gwinnett County, GA
Chicago, IL
Flint, MI
Allentown/Lehigh Valley, PA*
Pittsburgh, PA
San Antonio, TX
Green Bay, WI
Racine, WI
